Family Life
Center

Purpose
1) To strengthen, compliment, and build on existing ministries for our
church.
2)
To be used as a "tool" for reaching the lost for
Christ.
3)
To provide quality leisure activities in a Christian
atmosphere.
4)
To be used to reach and develop people for the glory of
God.
5)
To be used as a means of gaining new prospects for our ministries
through
contact with guest and visitors.
Funding
The
Tucson Baptist Temple Family Life Center was built on the generous
and the faithful contributions of it's members. The largest
contribution and original visionaries of this project were David &
Virginia O'Bryan. Their
unselfish gift made it possible to build this great ministry
tool. The rest, of the estimated $1,000,000 needed to build
this facility, was derived through two fundraising programs:
The Gideon 300
Club
The Millennium
Club
The
members of these respective clubs are commemorated on a plaque that is on
display in the building. Many others donated anonymously and
claim the verse: Matthew 6:4, "That thine alms
may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall
reward thee openly."
