Prayer Ministry

It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer.
Matthew 21:13a

It is our heart's desire to please God by being certain Tucson Baptist Temple is a "house of prayer". The Bible commands that we pray. I Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to "Pray without ceasing".  Jesus instructed us that, "If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it" John 14:14. The prayer ministry is designed to help members grow in their prayer experiences and provide opportunities to make a difference with prayer.

OPTIONS:
Bible Study: In God's Presence A group of 6 to 8 join together for a six-week study to explore prayer through daily homework and weekly small group practice of prayer. The group has the option of staying together to pray on a regular basis.
Wall of Prayer Members of the congregation commit to pray during one assigned hour each week. The goal is to have someone praying on behalf of the church and its ministries for as many of the 168 hours of the week as possible.
Prayer Network Members are prayerfully selected and invited to commit to pray for requests relayed to them by email or phone. Training is provided to assure effective communication and attention to confidentiality. If you have a joy or concern to share, go to Prayer Request.
Praying for Services and Special Events Prayer teams pray before and during services and events to support preaching, teaching, fellowship, music, worshippers, and people who might respond to the invitation to salvation and confession.
